Humanity is running out of options.
The colonies are failing. Resources are scarce. Survival depends on a nearby world engineered long ago by a vanished human civilization—a world designed to sustain life, if harvested correctly.
To find her lost brother, a young explorer joins an expeditionary corporation tasked with extracting resources to supply the surrounding colonies and travels to a volatile yet breathtaking new planet—the place he was last seen alive. Officially, her mission is simple: extract what the colonies need. Unofficially, she intends to uncover what happened to him.
But as the corporation digs deeper into the planet’s systems, strange patterns emerge. The world does not behave as expected. The closer she comes to the truth about her brother’s disappearance, the more she realizes he may have discovered something no one was meant to find.
Now she must decide: help humanity not only survive but potentially thrive at any cost… or defend the one world that may hold any future for them.
